Customer exit and portability
In force on publication, already true in design. Last reviewed 2026-08-18.
1. The commitment
A customer's records belong to that customer. Saberra processes them; it does not hold them.
This is a reserved matter under document 01. The terms on which a customer can export or retain their records cannot be reduced without the Steward's consent.
2. How it works in practice
Every record Saberra creates (meeting notes, extracted context, people profiles, project records) is written into a Notion workspace the customer controls, under the customer's own account. Saberra is a writer, not a keeper.
This means a customer who cancels today keeps everything that has been captured to date, readable and searchable in Notion, immediately, without requesting an export from Saberra and without waiting for anything. There is nothing to migrate because the data was never in Saberra's storage.
What stops on cancellation is new capture: emails received after the cancellation date will not be processed into records. Everything before that date is already there.
3. Exit terms
| Notice period | None. Cancel on any day. |
| Minimum term | None. Month-to-month. |
| Exit fee | None. |
| Data migration | Not required. Records are already in the customer's workspace. |
| Export request | Not required. But available on request: full extract of everything Saberra has written, in any format Notion supports. |
| Refund | Unused days in a prepaid period are refunded pro-rata. |
| Access after cancellation | Saberra's integration access to the Notion workspace may be revoked by the customer at any time, before or after cancellation. |
4. Retention and deletion
Saberra holds operational data in its own systems: the logs of email processing, the telemetry from the worker, the record that a given email was handled. That data is separate from the records in the customer's Notion workspace and subject to Saberra's retention schedule.
| Data type | Retention |
|---|---|
| Heartbeat / liveness events | 7 days |
| Processing events (other) | 90 days |
| Processing events (hard cap) | 500 rows regardless of age |
| Email message metadata (dedup) | Duration of contract, then deleted |
| Customer contact and contract information | 7 years for tax and legal purposes, then deleted |
The records Saberra writes into a customer's Notion workspace are not Saberra's data. Retention over them is the customer's own business.
5. Deletion request
A customer may request deletion of all Saberra-held operational data about their account at any time, including after cancellation. Email security@saberra.com. Saberra will confirm completion within 30 days.
Deletion of data held in the customer's own Notion workspace is the customer's own action. Saberra cannot delete from a workspace it does not own, and this is by design.
6. What this does not fix
Cancellation stops new capture. It does not reprocess email that arrived before the cancellation date. A customer who has been using the service for two years and cancels tonight has two years of records; they do not have records of email that arrived during any period the service was not active.
Saberra does not currently provide a portable structured export of a customer's Notion records in a non-Notion format (CSV, JSON). Notion itself provides this. Saberra can assist with the process but has no direct export mechanism today.
